I really love reading - or even just skimming - recommended articles from people I'm in community with instead of scrolling through an overstimulating onslaught of seemingly random 2-minute content (lol), and many of you have told me you feel the same way.

Hood Feminism: Notes From the Women That a Movement Forgot (Mikki Kendall) This book is one I am currently reading and it is extremely eye-opening. Have you read it? Certain Dark Things (Silvia Moreno Garcia) This is the third book I have read this year by this author, and while it doesn’t get as much press of some of her other books, it might be my favorite yet. An noir-punk alternate-present/near-future Mexico City, a much-needed new (-ish, as it partially draws from indigenous Mexica mythology) take on vampires, class commentary…what more do you need in a novel? 44 Dopamine Decorating Ideas (Karina Hagelin) There are so many cute ideas here! The Case for Hanging Out (Slate) There’s a growing crisis in our social lives. Could the cure be this simple?
